Sweet Exposure

Photography is not only about capturing the moments during the golden hours. Life happens 247 and we can just not afford to freeze life and wait until the sun sets or before it rises to take that ‘perfect’ exposure.

Knowing how to interpret ambient light will free you from the worry of quality of light.

This is a repost from my other resource site that I thought may be useful for my regular photographer visitors of this blog.

The technique of exposure under the sun carries a cute name of sweet sixteen.

When shooting under the sun, a good starting point is to put your aperture at f/16 and at a given ISO setting, your shutter speed would be at the inverse of that value.

For example, if your ISO is 100, your shutter speed would be 1/100 second.
