Great Ocean Road

After a long day shooting the out-of-this-world rock show, thanks to Scotty & Nige from the Canberra 104.7 Canberra Hit Music Station. I headed to Melbourne with my Dad for a photography week end.

The night was short between Friday and Saturday and the drive was really long on Saturday but it was really worth it.

We had only he week end to see and capture as much of the world renown Great Ocean Road and of course the 12 Apostles.

I took this photo on the Great Ocean Road not without taking some risks…

Don’t try this at home 🙂

More to come soon.

Winter Shoots

Winter is quiet period for wedding here in Canberra, every year I get to shoot a destination wedding to get away from the cold, so did I for Ondine and Eddy’s wedding last months.
Also along the exciting assignment to shoot Scotty and Nige’ Rock Band, Lane One Form, I did a few modeling shoots.
Too busy with the edits and planning for other shoots, I though I should take some time to post something on my blog to keep my readers, you, in the loop with some of my recent works.
Tomorrow will be the biggest fashion shoot I ever set up.
It would involve heaps of talents and local businesses.
Special thank to Rob of Performance Wedding Car for letting us shoot in his brand new mega studio, The white room.
Also mega thanks to Sandi of Tan This, in the Canberra Centre, to join the project providing spray tan for all the models.
It’s gonna be massive, it’s gonna be the biggest stdio fashion in Canberra that I know of. Stay tuned.
In the mean time, some of my recent works.

Fog in the City

It was a winter day in Canberra but, unlike other winter days, it was a really cold morning one.

I woke up this morning and felt that the heater wasn’t up to the task and realised that today, this year, winter in Canberra was a bit tougher than past years.

The fog was really thick and visibility was really bad. I though that it would be a great opportunity to take some pictures… Actually my wife called me to tell me that I should take some pictures 🙂

A special thought for those who can’t afford the comfort and luxury of a warm home.

Eddy & Ondine

Once again I flew to Noumea, New Caledonia, to shoot a wedding.

Eddy and Ondine have been friends of mine for some years now and it was really pleasure to be invited to shoot their wedding.

We had it all for this special day: Heavy rain, thunder storm and a bit of sunshine. It was a bit of challenge to deal with the weather but I managed to take control of their “fear” and dragged them out for some photos.

Noumea is renown for it’s history and its lagoon. We didn’t have much options to deal with but we definitely had a good time.

PS: it was a bit of a challenge to go against local habits, especially to when I asked the newly wed to pose next to a pond, crossing a muddy grass just after a heavy rain… but again the results make them happy so…

A few images that I had time to process between to barbies with old friends.

M2 is made of this

Between two projects in my crazy time table, I managed to find some time to edit two images from the shoot for M2 that I wanted to share with you.

Basic editing of a shoot where I really had fun. More to come soon, I hope.

PS: I am storyboarding for the last chapter of my M series Project, if you have some crazy ideas that you want to share, don’t hesitate to shoot me an email.
