Wedding Fair

Last Sunday was the Wedding Fair at the EPIC, hosted by Your Local Wedding Guide Canberra, and  I was one of the major sponsors. I think it was the first time that a photographer offered a complete wedding package as a sponsor. Nomad Photography is proud to be the first in this event.

It was a busy moment, as I was also the official photographer of the bridal parade (sorry guys, I can’t post ay photos here yet. Try to be at the next wedding fair and you won’t regret it), but I managed to find some time to go around and say hello to the other exhibitors.

This is a shot of the lovely Holly and the handsome Shane, who stopped by our booth to say Hi. I was amazed how accessible and nice people they were. We had a chat and I could show them a bit of my works.

Nomad Photography Wedding Fair

When it comes to weddings, there are a lot of people involved to make your most memorable day last as long as possible. Every thing from the flowers to the out fit, the cars and the DJ, and of course the photographers. But one of the most important thing would be the make up artist. A talented make up artist will make you look beautiful the natural way, without too much sophistification and will make you look good in the photos. One of the talented make up artist that I’d highly recommend would be Zoe BARTON. Zoe did the make up for some of the models of the bridal parade.

Did I also mentionned about the cake? There was Susan who offered a collection of incredible products: original and fun cakes of your dreams. Looks like somebody is already dreaming and her (their) dream can be reality.

Cream

Have you noticed that David & Sarah have chosen the Cream to celebrate their wedding?

The Cream is a very nice place to be. The first time I came to Cream was to scout the location before the wedding shoot. The place was so nice that I immediately felt like at home.

The staff is young, talented and very friendly. I had a chat with Michael, he is one of the owners and is a very nice guy. I had the chance to say hello to the team in the kitchen, during the wedding, and snap a few shots of the delicious food that was to be served.

If you need a place to lunch, dine or simply having a drink with some mates, this is the place to be. The Cream is located at Cnr Bunda & Genge St, canberra centre. Check out their website: http://creamcafebar.com.au/

104.7 Update

[ad]
Wow, it was a crazy but very fun week.
The wedding of David & Sarah, hosted by 104.7 and MCed by Scotty & Nige was awesome. I managed to find some time to pp a few photos. If you followed the wedding on air, here how it looked like in images.

PS: Scotty & Nige really rock. I still wonder how come radios don’t video broadcast as well as there are so many beautiful people at the radio station.

Want more? check out their public preview gallery here.

If you’d like to access their private gallery, leave a comment or shoot me an email asking for their password. I’ll submit your request  to David & Sarah and will get back to you with their approval.

Happy browsing.

It was the first time that I shot a wedding this early in the morning but man, it was so fun and everybody was so cool.

One quick snap before the post processing. More to come later.
