Mola in da house

The postman stopped by today to drop a big box: a Mola Setti beauty dish.

Thanks to Bang & Thuy @ TomKat Photography to do some shopping for me.

When I finished setting it up, I couldn’t resist to do a quick test shoot. By 11pm, it’s not easy to find a model around so I did some stills from whatever was hanging around.

Shot with a Canon 5D and a Carl Zeiss lens. Photos pretty much straight out of camera and cropped in post.

Needless to say that I am planing a shoot very soon to push this “little” beauty to her limits.

Check this space soon.

Tamsin Starick behind the scene

Following the photoshoot with Tamsin Starick, back in late July, here comes the video of the behind the scene.

As presented in a previous post, Tamsin is a young and talented model in Canberra who is starting a very promising modeling career.

Tamsin is very professional in the way she interacts with the camera.

Check the out the video of the behind the scene on the Nomad Photography channel.

Amanda Choong, behind the scene at the market place

A few weeks ago I did a photoshoot with a young and yet talented inspiring model, Amanda Choong.
The shoot took place at a marketplace outside of Canberra. It was cold of course but the model performed as a professional model.
Check out the video (don’t forget to flick the HD button) below a few new photos.
A big thank to Jean Paul Groove, a close friend of mine, to have mixed the music and a special thank to Vincent, my brother, for the video.
Enjoy the show.

Scott & Rie

Another post on Scott & Rie wedding last week end, as I just finished the PP and especially to post a few more photos for you guys to enoy 🙂

Check back often as we are in the peak season of blossom weddings in Canberra.

Week end with family

Mom and Dad came to see us down under for a few days and we really needed to see them. My family is kinda multicultural and a bit around the globe (US, FRANCE, BELGIUM, CANADA and AUSTRALIA) so when we have the opportunity to get along together, we try to make the most out of it.

We had some relaxed time las saturday before the rush of the new season. We took momand dad to Floriade and I’d rather say that we did well as we had a welcomed rain in Sunday.

Anyway, this morning I drove mom and dad to the train station in Kingston and snapped these few shots. It was between 0530 and 0630 in the morning.

The first one is of mom and dad, sitting in the train, shot through the train’s window. I took this shot from the quay and used my shadow to block the reflexion and it is kinda cool.
