Mayu & Radek

It was another awesome wedding that I had the joy to capture last Saturday.

The lovely Japanese bride Mayu said “Yes” to handsome Polish groom Radek.

Here is their first image and more to come.

Scott & Rie

Another post on Scott & Rie wedding last week end, as I just finished the PP and especially to post a few more photos for you guys to enoy 🙂

Check back often as we are in the peak season of blossom weddings in Canberra.

Location for a story board

As mentioned in some of my previous posts, I do a lot of scouting prior to a wedding shoot.
This way, I can show the couple that Wedding Photography, as captured by Nomad Photography, is not just clicking the trigger on the day of the Wedding.
I try to compose a story with the location that they chose. I plan for plan B for “what if” scenarios and also I make sure to show them the photos and have achat with teh couple so if they have some particular request, we can discuss during our final meeting before the wedding day.

Actually, I met the couple of my last wedding during a scout on a previous wedding. We had a chat, I gave them my card and 6 months later, I got a call from them to book their Wedding Photography. How good is that !

Here are some shots from my last location scouting. It’s in Lennox Garden, in Canberra (ACT).
I’ll post a few more later on.

Story Board

As usual, before a wedding I use to scout around the location to plan for the shoot and an eventual plan B. The next wedding will be a japanese wedding and will be at Nara Park, the Ceremony will be hold at a little pagoda next to the lake.

What I use to do is “imagine” how every thing is gonna happen. Locate my spot for a photojournalistic style of shoots, and also find out the spots, and the direction of the light, for the formals, posed shots and for the bridal party.

I went there yesterday afternoon and snap a few shots. I’ll post more later on.
