Nomad Photography Wedding Contest 2nd edition

Back to February this year, I released Australia’s first wedding contest in which the contestants could win a complete Wedding Photography Package, including a digital designed ALBUM (check the contest here)

There were more than 726 000 visits to the site to support and vote for the favorite couple.

With tomorrow’s, Sunday 23rd of August,  wedding fair @ the EPIC, I decided to renew the contest and give away another fantastic opportunity for a couple to win a complete Wedding Photography Package.

Check this link for all the information on how to enter the FREE contest and get your FREE Wedding Photography Package.

For the time being, check out the behind the scene of what’s gonna be another special day for the brides and grooms to be.

PS: Come and see us at the Fair.

Wedding Contest: The couple, the interview and the e-session

As mentioned in an earlier post, here are some edited photos of the e-session with Melissa & Ewen last Friday.

We spent some time together, when I put up this interview.

Funny enough, we met at the Light House Bar, in Belconnen, where Melissa and Ewen first dated…

Check out the interview and the photos.

How did you find out about the Nomad Photography competition?

We picked up a flyer about it at the Canberra Bridal Fair.

Why did you want Nomad Photography to take your wedding photos?

Nomad was one of the last photographers we saw at the bridal fair and there was just something different about them. Thierry took the time to explain some of his photos and why he took them. There seemed to be a real quality and passion behind his work which was so different to the other photographers we met that day.

How did you handle the month of voting?

We were both very nervous and on edge for a lot of the voting period. We were trying to drum up votes all over the place. We were getting emails from people I didn’t know wishing us luck in the competition as a friend of a friend had passed on the voting details to them. It was a really nice that so many people were willing to get behind us.

How are all your wedding plans coming along?

They are coming along pretty well. As we are having a fairly short engagement (10 months) we have been fairly busy with plans since we got engaged on Xmas day. We have a lot of the big things locked in already and now we can add photographer to that list!

When and where are you getting married?

We are getting married in Wollongong in October

What are you looking forward to most on your wedding day?

We are really looking forward to being pronounced husband and wife and celebrating with all our family and friends. And the photos of course!

Have you planned your honeymoon?

Not at the moment but we are thinking somewhere on the QLD sunshine coast.

What an incredible month of February.

Looking back and I realize that I haven’t got time to post here for more than a month…

As you may know, I am running a contest to win a complete wedding photography packages.

The month of February was open for al entries and I’d say that I was ery surprise and please to register lots of interets, some even come from overseas (US and Europe).

Sadly, a few couples, within Australia, wished to withdraw their entries… By respect for their wish I didn’t publish their story but I am very excited to announce the Finalists: Alisha & Matt and Melissa & Ewen.

It’s only a few days that the voting has started and there are already an avalanche of votes.

Check out their stories and vote for favorite couple here.
