NNTM

Who’d have thought that winter would have been that busy.

Quick update on the NNTM hunt (Nomad’s Next Top Model) with our winner officially announced: Brittany Murphy.

Brittany is a talent from Goulburn who is very fun and committed. She came to each of the photo shoot with plenty of enthusiasm and charms.

It was a very fun session last Sunday. It was a very special shoot because it was on Father’s Day and I’d like to thank all the talents involved:

Make Up: Aimee Benge, Cherie Salerno and Bindi Kelly

Hair Stylist: Our original hair stylist, Sarah Jayne Burke, had a problem with her car and could not be part of the shoot, lucky my guest photographer, Jenny Fisher, saved the day with her hair styling expertise. Bindi Kelly was the other hair stylist for the session.

We had Daniel from Sanguineti Media, and his crew (Sarah and Michael) for the behind the scene video of the photoshoot.

The shoot was at the White Room in Mitchell. Canberra. I used a Hasselblad H4D40 and Profot gears.

Here are some image from the shoot.

Street Photography – Update

It’s been a while since my last post here. I must say that Canberra’s winter kept everyone hibernating and everything is like coming to a slow down… Luckily I’ve been very busy with a trip over seas (US) for a mix of business and family break.

During the period, I spent a lot of time getting back to one of my favorite photography activities: Street Photography.

These are taken exclusively with a Leica M9 that I just added to my gear bag.

A few weeks taking photo with this baby, I must say that I knew (heard) about Leica for a while, My dad used Leica since the M2, now shoots with an M8 and an M9, but I only just tasted it with the M9.

Leica’s legendary reputation is TRUE. This camera is really awesome and the more I use it, the more I like it. Who wouldn’t?

PS: I am updating my website and the blog as well so check back often.

Winter in Canberra

I drive by this road almost everyday just to noticed that the scenery is quite different his year and for cause: It’s the coldest Canberra Winter that I know of, since I live here.

I couldn’t resist to the temptation to catch some of the early lights of the day.

What would be a good reason to jump out of the warm bed at 6 in the morning to drive all the way out in the cold, it was -0.5°C on a Saturday morning?

You let me know if the images below are worth the effort.

I packed a few lenses but use the 50mm f/1.7 Calr Zeiss exclusively for these shots.

NOMAD STREET PHOTOGRAPHY

After some busy time with all my weddings and fashion shoots, I took a few days (week ends) off to spend some times with my family.

We spent the week end of VIVID in Sydney and I must say that I enjoyed the family times and especially I liked getting back to street photography.

Here are a few images taken during the week end of VIVD in Sydney. Enjoy and all comments welcome.

Wedding quick edits

It’s been a while that I haven’t updated my blog. It’s not because it’ s wedding’ off season but it’s because I’ve been so busy with other projects during winter.

Just wanted to stop by and share a couple of newly edited images from Vicki & Brent’s wedding.

Comments and critics welcomes.
